1.Correctly pausing at the Quranic pause signs (م, لا, ج, صلى, قلى).

2. Maintaining sukoon (silence) when stopping at words ending in a vowel, without pronouncing the final vowel.

3. Applying correct rules when pausing on words ending with alif maqsoorah (ى).

4.Applying correct rules when pausing on words ending with a taa' marbootah (ة).

5. Applying correct rules when pausing on words that end with madd al-‘iwad (compensatory elongation).
